OK 92.35 is a nickel-based, super-alloy electrode of the NiCrMoW type. OK 92.35 deposits an extremely tough work-hardening weld metal, resistant to attacks by the most commonly used acids. The weld metal has good high-temperature properties in terms of tensile strength, hardness, thermal shock and scaling. The lowest possible heat input should be applied. Typical applications Hardfacing: hot forging dies, hot working tools, hot shear blades Joining: Nimonic and Inconel alloys, these alloys to carbon and alloy steels Cladding: Corrosion- and wear-resistant layers on valves and pump components
